Narnia

You will enjoy "The Chronicles of Narnia" as much as I did, because it really is a lovely movie to have watched. One of the rare times I thank my shoddy powers of retention. Despite having read the book...many parts were refreshingly new to me. Of the 4 children....my favourite is Lucy. Edmund is a real stinker and I don't much care for him. Oh yes and I quite liked the Faun as well.

Everyone is raving about it. Looks like a must see for me.

Edina, you must read the books.
I read them every 5 years and each time they teach me something new.

They're very powerful. Especially the last one.

Fred: Definitely a MUST see. Aaah go on. Then we can have a lovely discussion.

Aunty marianne: Yes you're right. I've forgotten most of it. My books are at my parents' ...so the next time I visit I'm going to lug them all back with me.

Edmund gets better, too. He turns out to have learned some important things from all this.

But what? YOU'LL HAVE TO READ THE BOOKS!

Beats Harry Potter into a cocked hat.

totally agree. Narnia is much better than potter.

After the movie, my friends and I decided the casting of edmund was perfect. He certainly got me grinding my teeth midway....each and every time he betrayed the others to the queen. Cant wait for the christmas break. No prizes for guessing which books I'm goona fish out to read.

Didn't like Narnia really. Wish I hadn't seen it at the movies. The books are much better and H. Potter is SO much better! But the girl who playes Lucy is excellent!
